Turning On the Power of Drug Prevention in Our Community

What you need to know about drug prevention in our community. Facilitated by Police Chief Paul Roberts and a member of the NH Drug Task Force. June 2 at 6:30 p.m. in the music room at Plainfield School.

Library Trustee Listening Session

The library board of trustees will meet to at the Town Office on June 2 at 7:00 p.m. to conduct a listening session to give Plainfield residents the opportunity to provide feedback to the Trustees about desired qualities in a new director, the structure of the library system, and wishes for our libraries going forward. No regular business is expected to be conducted.

Meriden Library / Meriden Village Study Committee

As a result of community input at the 2016 Town Meeting, the Select Board has formed the Meriden Library / Meriden Village Study Committee "To engage the Meriden Village community in a discussion of alternatives for bringing the Meriden Library into meaningful compliance with the Americans with Disability Act including opportunities to consolidate and enhance existing town and public services and facilities in the village of Meriden." The committee will begin meeting soon. You can use the MLMVSC Committee page to follow the committee's progress and share your thoughts on these important issues with committee members.
