This committee was formed in 2017 by the Trustees of the Plainfield Libraries, to research and propose a plan to make the Meriden Library an ADA-compliant building that all community members could access and enjoy. The new Meriden Library building is ADA-compliant, highly energy-efficient, and has been paid for entirely by donations and existing funds. The committee has worked closely with the Library Trustees and the enthusiastic and innovative team at GeoBarns to build a beautiful library that will meet the changing needs of this town for generations to come.
The Meriden Library opened its doors to the Plainfield community on April 10th, 2023. We can't wait for you all to visit!
